Press release on the launch of the project “Digitalisation of AUTOROM CHRISTIAN SRL”

AUTOROM CHRISTIAN SRL is starting the implementation of the project entitled “Digitalisation of AUTOROM CHRISTIAN SRL”, SMIS code 334965. The project runs during the period 02.03.2026 – 02.12.2026.
The project is financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the North-West Regional Programme 2021–2027 (Programul Regional Nord-Vest 2021–2027), Priority P1 – A competitive region through innovation, digitalisation and dynamic enterprises, Specific Objective 1.2: Reaping the benefits of digitisation for citizens, companies, research organisations and public authorities, under call PRNV/2023/121/1.
The project beneficiary is AUTOROM CHRISTIAN SRL, and the Managing Authority for the North-West Regional Programme 2021–2027 is the North-West Regional Development Agency (ADR Nord-Vest). The total value of the project is 693.658,57 lei, of which the European Union contribution is 204.407,46 lei and the national contribution is 36.071,90 lei.
The general objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness and productivity of AUTOROM CHRISTIAN SRL by digitalising its activities through the purchase of dedicated equipment and software solutions.
Through its implementation, the project aims to modernise the digital infrastructure by means of 24 pieces of hardware equipment (desktop, label printer, phones, printer, server, barcode readers), ERP software applications, 10 office licences and cloud solutions, an IT security solution (antivirus), a simple website and a complex e-commerce website, and the introduction of accessibility measures for people with disabilities, such as computer voice, as well as the use of 10 digital technologies, in order to achieve a high level of digital intensity in the enterprise. The digitalisation of processes will support more efficient workflows and an increase in labour productivity of at least 15% in year 3 of the sustainability period, while maintaining the average number of employees of 2023.
Benefits for the community of Satu Mare and the North-West Region:
The project “Digitalisation of AUTOROM CHRISTIAN SRL” will bring benefits to the community of the municipality of Satu Mare and to the North-West Region by modernising and streamlining the activity of a local company in the grain and feed trade, through the implementation of digital solutions such as ERP, cloud computing, modern IT equipment and online commerce platforms.
Digitalisation will lead to an increase in labour productivity of at least 15%, improved customer relations and the development of digital sales channels, thereby contributing to greater local economic competitiveness, a stronger commercial chain in the agricultural sector and the development of employees' digital skills. At the same time, the project supports the digital transformation of SMEs in the region, increases the efficiency of the services offered to customers and contributes to the development of a regional economy that is more modern, more innovative and better connected to the European market.
The project is aligned with the objective of the North-West Regional Programme 2021–2027 on reaping the benefits of digitisation and contributes to the digital transformation of SMEs through the adoption of solutions that improve working methods and the quality of the services offered.
